The purpose of this exercise is to confirm and deepen the understanding of basic matters of civil law while reviewing the entire Civil Code (general provisions, property rights, claims, relatives, and inheritance), taking into account civil procedural legal and practical perspectives, etc.
The discussion and deliberation will be based on the reports on the assignments by the persons in charge. The main subject will be to confirm and organize the basics of civil law and important judicial precedents. This seminar will be useful not only for those who wish to become legal professionals, but also for students who wish to relearn or review civil law. There will also be lectures by guest speakers (attorneys, etc.) and a question and answer session.

本演習は、民事訴訟法的視点や実務的視点等も踏まえながら、民法全体（総則、物権、債権、親族、相続）を概観しながら、民法の基本事項を確認し、理解を深めることを目的とする。

担当者の課題に対する報告を前提に、協議検討を行う。主な課題は、民法の基本事項や重要判例の確認整理を予定している。法曹志望者はもちろん、民法を改めて学習し直したい学生や復習したい学生にとって有益な演習としたい。なお、ゲストスピーカー（弁護士等）からの講演や質疑応答等も予定している。
