【Course Objectives】

The primary objective of this course is to furnish students with foundational knowledge of international law while increasing their proficiency in Korean reading skill and Japanese writing skill. The course also aims to cultivate critical thinking regarding the role and significance of international law within each society.

【Course Contents】

"Throughout the course, we will systematically translate a series of essays on international law titled '생활 속의 국제법 읽기' ('Read International Law in Your Everyday Life') from Korean to Japanese using various translation tools and applications.

By delving into the content, examining Korea's perspective on international law, and its related global challenges, we aim to stimulate reflective discussions on the position of international law within Japan and the global issues it confronts.

While prior enrollment in international law courses is not mandatory, a genuine interest in international law and global affairs is crucial for active participation.

Students from Korea are warmly encouraged to join.

Instruction throughout the course will be conducted in Japanese.
