The goal of this course is for students to discover for themselves questions about “Bildung” through reading texts on art creation and appreciation, with information about artworks and exhibitions. Specifically, this course has the following goals:
① Students will read texts on the theme of art creation and appreciation and summarize them in a resume.
② Students will extract arguments and formulate questions from the texts.
When people create and appreciate artworks, it seems that they do not do so simply on the basis of an individual's accidental idea but certain rules.
It has been argued that people living in a specific era or society develop habitual ways of seeing things and producing works (techniques) unique to that context.
Furthermore, it has been said that through acquiring these techniques, we transform our own perceptions, modes of action, the art institution (system) itself, and our notions of children or education (Bildung). Then, how can we talk about these transformations?
In this lecture, we will consider clues to these questions from various artworks and related texts on aesthetics. Based on these readings, students will have an opportunity to prepare their resumes and make presentations.
This course will take the form of either a group or individual presentation, depending on how many students are present.

多彩な学び科目
本講義の目標は、芸術制作と鑑賞に関するテクストを読むことで、芸術作品や展覧会の情報にも触れながら「人間形成（Bildung）」に関する問いを自ら見出すことです。本講義は、具体的には以下の目標を持っています。
① 芸術制作と鑑賞に関するテーマのテクストをしっかりと読み、レジュメにまとめあげることができるようになる。
② テクストから、論証を取り出し、問いを立てることができるようになる。

人が芸術作品を制作したり鑑賞したりするときには、単に個人個人の偶然的な「思いつき」だけでそれをするわけではなく、一定のルールがあるように感じられませんか。
これまで、ある特定の時代や社会に生きた人には、そこでの特有のモノの見方や制作のしかた（技術）が習慣化されている、と主張されてきました。
また、こうした技術を使いこなしていくことを通して、私たちは自分の知覚や行為のしかた、芸術制度自体、子ども観、教育観を変容させていくと言われています。そうした変容を、私たちはどのように語ることができるのでしょうか。
本講義では、これらを考える手がかりを、さまざまな芸術作品と美学-芸術論のテキストから考えてみます。その読解を踏まえて、第4回目の授業から学生がレジュメを切って、発表する機会を設けます。
なお、受講者の人数によって、グループ発表か個人発表のいずれかを担当していただきます。
