Improve understanding of Philippine society by learning the basics of Tagalog, one of the main languages of the Philippines.
Learn basic Tagalog grammar and gain an understanding of its inherent structure. The goal is for students to understand the basic relationship between focus and verb types, which is characteristic of verbs in particular. For that purpose, students must acquire the necessary vocabulary and verb usage. We will conduct quizzes for confirmation during classes. While understanding grammar is the main pillar, we would like to introduce language issues and other aspects of Philippine society as far as time allows.

フィリピンの主要言語の一つであるタガログ語の初歩を学習することを通じ、フィリピン社会への理解を深める。
Improve understanding of Philippine society by learning the basics of Tagalog, one of the main languages of the Philippines.
タガログ語の初級文法を学び、その固有な構造について理解を深める。特に動詞に特徴的な、焦点（focus）と動詞の種類の基本的な関係を理解することを目標とする。そのために最低限必要な、語彙・動詞の活用などの習得の積み重ねが求められる。その確認のための小テストを授業時に行う。文法理解を主要な柱とする一方、言語の問題と関わるフィリピンの社会と文化の諸側面についても、時間の許す範囲で紹介していきたいと考えている。
