The goal of this class is to deepen students' understanding of contemporary society, with its diversified values and ways of life, from the perspective of religion.
Students will study contemporary Japanese religions and religious practices from the perspective of “travel.” Through this, we will consider what meaning religion has for people today. Furthermore, we will focus on people involved in religious practices and those who operate sacred places, and understand that there are diverse ways of life.

多彩な学び科目
宗教という観点から、価値観や生き方が多様化している現代社会について理解を深めることを目標とする。
The goal of this class is to deepen students' understanding of contemporary society, with its diversified values and ways of life, from the perspective of religion.
「旅」という観点から現代日本の宗教や宗教的な実践について学ぶ。これにより、現代人にとって宗教がどのような意味を持っているのかを考える。さらに、宗教的な実践に関わる人々や聖地を運営している人々に注目し、多様な生き方があることを理解する。
