The purpose of this course is to understand the current situation and issues of the local community and find solutions to them. Moreover, we will acquire the ability to express our own thoughts about those topics.
This course will cover local communities in local governments, including their core concepts, systems and policies, actors, and comparisons with other countries.

基本的には、予習として内容に関する情報収取をし、復習としてノートや関連文献を参照し、当日の内容についてさらなる学修や自分の考えをまとめるなどをする。詳細な指示がある場合は別途説明をする。各回の予習・復習にはそれぞれ2時間程度を要する。

地域コミュニティの現状や課題等について理解し、その解決策を見出すことを目的とする。また、それらについて自分の考えを伝えることのできる能力を身に着ける。

地方自治体における地域コミュニティについて、必要な概念、その制度や政策、その主体、他国との比較、そのあり方等について講義する。
