This course on modern history in Japanese and Korean politics, society, and culture will increase interest about significant relationships in Japan's and Korea's modern ages, emphasizing social science systems with the modern history between these two countries.
In this course, students will study the history of Japan and Korea in light of social sciences. Furthermore, on the basis of the historical environments in these two countries, our study will extend to the histories and social sciences of Northeast Asia.

この授業では東北アジアにおける近代的時代性の抱える諸問題の学問的克服を目標とし、近代以降扱われてきた様々な理論と思想史体系について、とくに日本と韓国を視野に真剣に考えていきます。
This course on modern history in Japanese and Korean politics, society, and culture will increase interest about significant relationships in Japan's and Korea's modern ages, emphasizing social science systems with the modern history between these two countries.
総合的学問として、全ての学問の大きな柱を形成する社会科学分野に関わる内容を扱いながら蓄えた論理的思考をもとに、今後各自の専門分野に東北アジア、とくに「日韓」という視座を応用・実践していただければ幸いです。
