To learn key concepts and theories of intercultural communication and apply them to analyze social issues and various intercultural communication phenomena in everyday life.
Students will deepen their understandings of verbal and non-verbal interactions between/among people in different relationships and cultural backgrounds, using concepts, models, and theories of intercultural communication, so that they will be able to critically examine commonly observed communication practices and social issues.

To learn key concepts and theories of intercultural communication and apply them to analyze social issues and various intercultural communication phenomena in everyday life.
異文化コミュニケーション論における概念, モデル, 理論を用いて, 異なる関係性や文化的背景にある人々のインターアクションを言語・非言語の視点から分析的に読み解くことで, 日常的に見られるコミュニケーション行為や社会問題について批判的に考察していく。
