The goal of the course is for students to become able to think for themselves and form their own opinions about economic issues in Japan using theories as their weapons rather than being emotionally swayed by social trends and authority, through learning Marxist economics and macroeconomics.
The course explains current issues of Japanese economy with the use of Marxist economics and macroeconomics easily even for beginners.
The issues discussed include monetary policy and inflation, economic growth, declining wages and impoverishment in Japan, deteriorating labor conditions, expanding corporate profits, globalization and the decline of regional economies, as well as commentary on current economic news.

1. 授業の予習・復習を兼ねて、毎日30分（週あたり3時間半）新聞などのニュース記事を読むこと。
2. テキストや参考書などの経済に関する書籍を、毎週2時間以上読むこと。
3. 各回の授業後に、30分程度復習の時間をとること。
1～3をすれば、毎週6時間、14回の授業では84時間（授業時間を合わせると110時間近く）経済を勉強したことになるので、経済についてのかなりの知識量の向上が見込めます。

多彩な学び科目
マルクス経済学やマクロ経済学の基礎を学ぶことを通じて、いま日本で起こっている経済問題について、感情的に世の風潮や権威に流されるのではなく、理論を武器として自らの頭で考え、自分なりの意見が持てるようになることを目標とする。
The goal of the course is for students to become able to think for themselves and form their own opinions about economic issues in Japan using theories as their weapons rather than being emotionally swayed by social trends and authority, through learning Marxist economics and macroeconomics.
マルクス経済学やマクロ経済学といった経済理論を用いて、現在の日本経済が直面している経済問題について、初学者にもわかりやすく解説していく。
扱うトピックとしては、金融政策と物価上昇、経済成長、賃金低下と日本の貧困化、労働環境の悪化、企業利益の拡大、グローバル化と地方経済の衰退などのほか、時事的な経済ニュースの解説なども行っていく予定である。
The course explains current issues of Japanese economy with the use of Marxist economics and macroeconomics easily even for beginners.
