This course aims to deepen understanding of Japanese constitutional law through a comparison with the constitutional laws of other countries, particularly those in North America.
In this course, students without a specialization in law will develop a fundamental understanding of Japanese constitutional law by examining topics such as the protection of fundamental human rights, including freedom of expression, and the structure of governmental institutions like the Diet, in comparison with the constitutions of other countries, particularly those in North America.

諸外国、とりわけ、北米の憲法との比較を通じて、日本国憲法を理解する。
This course aims to deepen understanding of Japanese constitutional law through a comparison with the constitutional laws of other countries, particularly those in North America.
法学を専門にしていない学生を対象に、表現の自由などの基本的人権の保障や国会などの統治機構について諸外国、とりわけ、北米の憲法との比較を通じて、日本国憲法の基礎的な理解を深める。
