世界で一番と言っても過言ではないほど、「SDGs」という言葉が浸透している日本において、SDGsの基本理念である「誰一人取り残さない・取り残されない」の実態をどのように理解すればよいのか。本授業では、市民社会組織の視点からSDGs達成にむけて活動を行っている「SDGs市民社会ネットワーク」の実践をベースとしながら、「市民」（citizen）としての「合意」と「選択」について多角的に考えます。これから皆さんがつくりあげる「市民社会」について、共に考え、学び合います。
