Students will observe the realities of the Spanish-speaking world from both centripetal and centrifugal forces, then train their perception of this society that is often misunderstood in Japan.
As "Catalonian independence" has become a talking point recently, in the Spanish-speaking world, there are centripetal force that works to integrate their members into a certain entity as well as centrifugal force that erupts in forms such as independence. Through historic examples, we will find the characteristics of the society between these two forces.

Students will observe the realities of the Spanish-speaking world from both centripetal and centrifugal forces, then train their perception of this society that is often misunderstood in Japan.
近年「カタルニア独立」が話題となったように，スペイン語圏にはこれをまとめる求心力と独立などの形をとって噴出する遠心力とが働く。過去の例を通し，ふたつの力の狭間にある社会の特色を見出す。
