The course uses sports as an accessible lens to explore ethics and law, cultivating the ability to analyze contemporary social issues from diverse perspectives. Through dialogue among students from various disciplines, it further develops respectful and constructive discussion skills.
This course examines a range of issues related to sports and analyzes them from legal and ethical perspectives. Topics include sportsmanship, the role of sports fans, gender, doping, violence, and nationalism.
Each topic is covered over two class sessions. In the first session, the instructor or a guest speaker provides a lecture on the theme. Based on this lecture, students engage in group discussions, organize their ideas, and prepare for the following class. In the second session, groups share the results of their collaborative work and further develop the discussion.
Because group meetings and other forms of preparation require a substantial amount of study time outside of class, students are expected to enroll only if they can devote sufficient time to this course.

コラボレーション科目
本科目は、担当教員の実務経験、または実務に従事するゲスト・スピーカーの招聘講義等を活かした授業である。
スポーツという身近な題材を通して倫理および法への理解を深め、現代社会の諸問題を多角的に考察する力を養う。また、異なる学部の学生同士の対話を通じて、互いの価値観を尊重しつつ議論を深める力を育成する。
The course uses sports as an accessible lens to explore ethics and law, cultivating the ability to analyze contemporary social issues from diverse perspectives. Through dialogue among students from various disciplines, it further develops respectful and constructive discussion skills.
この授業では、スポーツに関する多様な問題を取り上げ、それらを法的・倫理的な観点から分析する。具体的には、スポーツマンシップ、スポーツファンの在り方、ジェンダー、ドーピング、暴力、ナショナリズムといったテーマを検討する。
各テーマは2回構成とし、1回目は教員またはゲストスピーカーによる講義を行う。履修者はその内容を踏まえてグループディスカッションを行い、課題を整理したうえで次回の授業に臨む。2回目では、グループ学修の成果を共有し、さらに議論を深める。
なお、グループでの打ち合わせなど、授業時間外にも相応の学修時間が必要となるため、本授業のために十分な時間を確保できる者の履修を求める。
