This course aims to explore global challenges outlined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and deepen understanding of initiatives by companies and NGOs working to address these challenges. Based on the activities and practical examples introduced by guest speakers, students will develop the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to perceive social issues as personal responsibilities and actively participate in creating a sustainable society.
The course features guest speakers from companies, NGOs/NPOs, and local governments who are actively engaged in addressing global challenges. Each class session will examine how the situations of vulnerable populations affected by climate change, conflicts, and exploitation are interconnected with our daily lives. Through the questions and proposals presented by guest speakers, students will analyze the SDGs from multiple perspectives and explore individual actions that can contribute to achieving the SDG principle of "No one is left behind."
The course will provide a comprehensive and practical approach to understanding global issues and empowering students to become proactive agents of positive change.

多彩な学び科目
本科目は、担当教員の実務経験、または実務に従事するゲスト・スピーカーの招聘講義等を活かした授業である。
SDGsが示す地球規模課題について学ぶとともに、それらの課題の解決をめざす企業やNGOの取り組みについて理解を深める。ゲストスピーカーが紹介する活動や実践例を踏まえ、社会課題を自分ごととして捉え、持続可能な社会づくりに参画するための知識、スキル、マインドセットを習得する。

地球規模課題の解決のためのアクションに取り組む企業、NGO/NPO、地方自治体からゲストスピーカーが登壇し、最前線の活動を紹介する。各回の授業では、気候変動、紛争、搾取などの理由により脆弱な立場に置かれる人々の状況と、私たちの暮らしがどのようにつながっているかを理解する。また、ゲストスピーカーが投げかける問いや提案から、SDGsを多角的に考察し、SDGsが掲げる「誰一人取り残さない社会」の実現に向け、ひとりひとりが取り組めるアクションを探る。
