Students will learn about the findings and ideas of social psychology regarding behavior and interpersonal relationships that occur in "groups," and cultivate the ability to understand familiar events and social problems from a psychological perspective.
As social beings, we cannot live apart from groups. Groups work together to achieve great accomplishments, provide support and a sense of security to members, but sometimes have disruptive effects both inside and outside. We will examine the various phenomena that occur in such "groups" from a psychological perspective based on specific examples. I would like to explore how ideal relationships between individuals and groups should be and how they can be built for people living in society.

「集団」で生じる行動や対人関係について、社会心理学の知見や発想を学び、日常生活の対人関係や社会問題を心理学的に理解する力を養う。
Students will learn about the findings and ideas of social psychology regarding behavior and interpersonal relationships that occur in "groups," and cultivate the ability to understand familiar events and social problems from a psychological perspective.
社会的存在である人間は、集団を離れて生きられない。集団は協働により偉業を達成したり、成員に支援や安心感を与えるが、時として内外に破壊的な影響をもたらす。そうした「集団」で生じるさまざまな現象を、具体例をもとに心理学的に検討する。社会に生きる人間にとって、個と集団の理想的な関係はどうあるべきかを模索したい。
As social beings, we cannot live apart from groups.
