In this course, students will gain a basic understanding of the evolution of Japanese (youth culture and subculture) lifestyle and leisure/recreation from a historical-sociological and cultural-theoretical perspective, and will acquire the basic knowledge to discover their own lifestyle and social problems.And to acquire basic knowledge for discovering one's own lifestyle and issues in Japanese society.
In this lecture, we will look back at the social background and evolution of the culture of sports, leisure and recreation from a historical
sociological perspective to understand the characteristics of the Japanese view of lifestyle and leisure, especially from the viewpoint of
youth culture and subcultures.Materials will be distributed at each lecture, and slide presentations and videos will be used. Students will
submit reaction papers. Students will also be evaluated by two written tests.

「多彩な学び」の基本方針である「専門領域の枠を超えた人間としての深い認識や価値観、総合的な判断力」を養うために、歴史社会学的・文化論的な視点から日本人（若者文化・サブカルチャー）のライフスタイルやレジャー・レクリエーションの変遷を理解し、自らのライフスタイルと社会の問題を発見するための基礎的な知識を身につける。

本講義では、スポーツやレジャーやレクリエーションという文化が誕生した社会的背景とその変遷を歴史社会学的に振り返りながら日本人、
とりわけ若者文化・サブカルチャーからみたライフスタイル観やレジャー観の特徴を理解します。毎時の講義では講義テーマに関連した資料を
オンライン配布し、スライド提示や映像を活用します。毎時の講義ではリアクションペーパーを提出します。また講義の中間回と最終回に授業
内テストを実施します。
