Today, advanced medical interventions spanning birth, aging, sickness, and death, combined with a growing sense of socioeconomic stagnation, have placed human life and death in a complex situation. This course provides a platform for students to independently explore and articulate new perspectives on the future of life. Together, we will investigate the possibilities for society, medicine, and care.
Our goal is not merely to investigate existing problems and initiatives, but to create new forms of care, tools, recreation, and networks. Students are expected to demonstrate unique viewpoints, the ability to reframe ideas, and originality.
1. Project Planning & Research Based on reference topics provided by the instructor, students will freely select a theme of interest—either individually or in groups—and conduct research and practical projects. Following periodic progress updates and presentations, students are required to submit a project plan (mid-term report) by the middle of the semester.
2. Final Presentation & Report In the second half of the course, students will deliver final presentations sequentially. We welcome not only standard slide presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) but also creative formats such as video production and live performances (drama, poetry readings, music, dance, etc.). Students will incorporate feedback received from peers and the instructor to refine their work into a final report. We highly encourage proposals for autonomous themes that are not bound by existing frameworks or values.

本講義を受講するにあたり、同講師の担当する「オーダーメイド医療最前線」（全カリ科目）または「グリーフスタディ」（コミュニティ福祉学部設置科目：2025年度まで）のいずれかを履修済であることが望ましいです（必須ではありません）。
生命倫理の基本的な議論や医療の歴史的経緯の理解を踏まえた上で、これまでにない包括的なケアのあり方を模索することに挑戦していきたいと思います。卒論執筆や進学を予定している学生には、そのテーマの土台となるような多様な学びの視点を得られることを目指します。変わりゆく社会や新たな医科学技術の到来においても、しなやかに生きぬいていく力を身につけることを期待します。
多彩な学び科目
いま、生老病死にわたる高度な医療的介入や社会経済の閉塞感が進み、人間の死生が複雑な局面に置かれています。本講義では、これからのいのちの問題を展望する新たな視点を、学生自ら探求し表現できる場をもち、社会・医療・ケアの可能性について模索していきます。
既存の問題や取り組みを調査することに留まらず、新たなケア、ツール、レクリエーション、ネットワークを創造することを目標とします。ユニークな着眼点、発想の転換、独創性を求めます。

１．講師の提示するいくつかのトピックを参考に、受講生は個人またはグループで関心テーマを自由に定め、それにしたがって調査および実践的な取り組みを行います。段階的な進捗状況の発表を経て学期中旬までに計画書（中間レポート）を作成します。
２．コースの後半では成果発表を順に行います。パワーポイント等によるプレゼンテーション以外にも、動画作成やライブパフォーマンス（劇、朗読、歌、ダンス）なども歓迎します。他の受講生および講師よりフィードバックを受け取り、最終レポートとして仕上げます。既存の枠組みや価値観にとらわれない自主的なテーマの提案を大いに期待します。
