Understand the concept of Christian evil.
Critically examine abstract arguments.
Ability to explain both theistic and atheistic positions.
Critiques of Christianity from historical and philosophical perspectives are examined. From an atheistic standpoint devoid of Christian faith, compelling arguments are presented as follows:
1. God exists.
2. Evil exists.
3. 1 and 2 are contradictory (incompatible).
4. 2 is true [empirical fact].
5. 1 is false.
The fact that evil exists in this world is widely acknowledged. In that case, does the proposition "God does not exist" hold true?
In this lecture, we inquire into possible responses to such arguments. Historically, we reference the perspectives of Judaism and Gnosticism, while introducing the arguments of Augustine and contemporary religious philosophy.

・キリスト教的な悪の概念について理解する
・抽象的な議論の成否を自分自身で検討することができるようになる
・有神論と無神論のどちらの立場についても簡単に説明できるようになる
Understand the concept of Christian evil.
Critically examine abstract arguments.
Ability to explain both theistic and atheistic positions.
キリスト教に対する批判を歴史的・哲学的観点から取り上げる。
キリスト教の信仰をもたない無神論的な立場からは、次のような強力な議論が提示されている。
1)神が存在する
2)悪が存在する
3)1と2は矛盾する（両立しない）
4)2は真である［経験的事実］
5)1は偽である
この世に悪が存在しているのは、誰もが認める事実であろう。
とすれば、「神は存在しない」という命題は真となるのか。
本講義では、このような議論に対してどのような応答が可能であるのかを問う。
歴史的には、ユダヤ教やグノーシス派の見解を参照しつつ、アウグスティヌスや現代の宗教哲学の議論を紹介する。
