This course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of environmental issues and to cultivate the ability to think flexibly from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Students will learn about fundamental aspects of the global environment, climate change and decarbonization efforts, energy-related issues, and biodiversity challenges. The course also reviews a range of other global and local environmental problems, and finally examines approaches to creating a sustainable society.

環境問題に関する基礎的な知識を修得すると同時に、横断的な視点から柔軟に思考する力を身につけることを目標とする。
This course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of environmental issues and to cultivate the ability to think flexibly from an interdisciplinary perspective.
地球環境の基礎知識から気候変動と脱炭素取り組み、、エネルギー問題と生物多様性の課題について学ぶ。さらに、これら以外に生じている様々な地球環境問題と地域環境問題について整理し、最後に持続可能な社会を形成するためのアプローチについて学ぶ。
Students will learn about fundamental aspects of the global environment, climate change and decarbonization efforts, energy-related issues, and biodiversity challenges. The course also reviews a range of other global and local environmental problems, and finally examines approaches to creating a sustainable society.
