・To be able to explain the fundamental doctrines of Christianity.
・To understand German Mysticism, a distinct intellectual movement in medieval Germany, and to learn about its influence on later generations and its similarities with other cultures.
This lecture will cover German Mysticism, a distinctive Christian movement that emerged in medieval Germany. Despite being declared heretical by the Church, this ideology went on to exert a profound influence on later German philosophy.
After studying the fundamental doctrines of Christianity, we will explore the unique characteristics of German Mysticism and its impact on subsequent generations.
If time permits, we will also examine similarities with Indian philosophy and Buddhism.

学びの精神科目
本講義をつうじて、皆さんには、キリスト教の基本的な教義を説明できるようになっていただきます。
また、中世ドイツにおける特殊な思想運動である「ドイツ神秘主義」の概要を理解し、その後世への影響と、他文化との類似性を学ぶことが目標です。

本講義では、中世ドイツに起こったキリスト教の特殊な運動である、「ドイツ神秘主義」について扱います。
この思想は教会から異端宣告を受けながらも、後のドイツ哲学に大きな影響を与えることになりました。
キリスト教の基礎的な教義を学んだあと、「ドイツ神秘主義」の特殊性やその後代への影響を探求します。
余裕があれば、インド哲学や仏教との類似性についても扱うつもりです。
