The purpose of this course is to acquire the fundamental knowledge necessary for reading narrative literature from the Heian period.
This course focuses on reading Heian-period narrative literature in the original text, primarily ”Taketori Monogatari”,”Utsuho Monogatari”, and ”Genji Monogatari”, to grasp their general outlines. Where necessary, we will also touch upon prior research and related works.

平安時代の物語文学を読むための基礎的な知識を身につける。
The purpose of this course is to acquire the fundamental knowledge necessary for reading narrative literature from the Heian period.
本講義では、『竹取物語』『うつほ物語』『源氏物語』を中心に、平安時代の物語文学を原文で読み、その概略をつかむ。必要に応じて、先行研究や関連する作品にも触れる。
