To acquire the basic knowledge necessary for studying at university, and for each participant to independently develop his/her own ideas about the significance of studying at university.
Through a reading of Max Weber's "Science as a Vocation," we will consider the significance of studying at universities in modern Japan. The History of the University" will also be introduced.

大学で学ぶうえで必要となる基礎知識を獲得し、大学で学ぶことの意義について受講者ひとりひとりが自分なりの考えを主体的にもつこと。
To acquire the basic knowledge necessary for studying at university, and for each participant to independently develop his/her own ideas about the significance of studying at university.
マックス・ウェーバーの『職業としての学問』の講読を通じて、現代日本の大学で学ぶことの意義について考えていく。また、「大学の歴史」についても紹介する。
