The goal of this course is to support students to move from “studying a language" to "studying a specialized field using the language," and to acquire the foundation necessary to use French in academic and specialized fields in the future.
CEFR B2 level materials will be used in this course to help students acquire the necessary skills and communication knowledge for academia, and these abilities will be developed through practical classroom experience. Specifically, students will learn how to research and read academic texts written in French, write papers, ask questions in lectures and speeches, and give presentations. Students will also acquire academic French language skills through practice writing essays in French. The course is aimed at students who have experience studying abroad or who are considering entering graduate school in Japan or overseas.

将来、「言語を学ぶ」ことから「専門領域を言語で学ぶ」ことへ発展するために、フランス語を使用して学問上の専門分野や専門領域で活躍できる力の基礎を身に付けることを目標とする。
The goal of this course is to support students to move from “studying a language" to "studying a specialized field using the language," and to acquire the foundation necessary to use French in academic and specialized fields in the future.
留学経験者や国内外の大学院への進学を考えている学生を対象に、授業ではCEFR B2レベルの教材等を使用し、フランス語の学術界で必須となるさまざまなスキルやコミュニケーションに必要となる知識を身に付け、教室内での実践経験を通してそれらの能力を磨く。具体的には、フランス語で書かれた文献のリサーチや講読、論文執筆、講義や講演での質問の仕方、プレゼンテーションの方法などを学ぶ。フランス語で小論文を執筆する練習を通して、学術的なフランス語力を身につける。
