This course aims to enrich students'knowledge of the culture and society of Spanish-speaking regions while they actively learn the language through various class activities.
Students will expand their vocabulary and develop reading comprehension skills by carefully exploring relatively accessible texts (at the A2 level) through an imaginative lens. Furthermore,the course aims to foster an appreciation for the rhythm and sounds of the Spanish language. Students will learn to read between the lines, identifying subtle nuances, humor, and indirect expressions within short passages.
Based on the CEFR A2 level of Spanish language skills acquired in the mandatory and elective courses, this course will use CEFR A2 level materials. The overall theme of this course is entertainment in Spanish-speaking regions, with a focus on movies, songs, drama, and TV as specific subject matter. The courses in this area are also positioned as preparatory courses for academic courses.
We will explore a selection of popular children's stories and picture books from the Spanish-speaking world.
For children acquiring their native language, these stories are more than just entertainment; they are filled with linguistic devices designed to enrich their sense of rhythm and vocabulary. Although intended for children,these texts are written for native speakers and often include grammatical structures that may be challenging for students of Spanish.
In this course, we will supplement these readings with explanations of grammar and vocabulary to support understanding. By stimulating the imagination through illustrations and linguistic rhythm, students will immerse themselves in the Spanish language and its diverse cultural heritage, ultimately expanding their own linguistic and cultural assets.

さまざまな授業活動によって能動的に言語を学びながら、スペイン語圏の文化や社会に関する教養を深めることを目指す。
語彙を増やし、比較的易しい文章（A2程度）を想像力を用いながらもじっくりと読むことで読解力を伸ばす。また、スペイン語のリズムや音を文字から楽しみ、短い言葉や間接的な表現から行間を読んだり、微妙なニュアンスやユーモアを読み取る力を養う。

必修科目等で身に付けたCEFR A2レベルのスペイン語運用能力を土台とし、CEFR A2レベルの題材を使用する。科目の総合テーマは「スペイン語圏のエンターテインメント」で、具体的な題材として、映画、歌、演劇、TV等を扱う。また、本領域の科目はアカデミック領域の科目を受講するための準備段階にも位置づけられる。
スペイン語圏で親しまれている童話を中心に絵本を読み進めていく。母語の習得過程にある子どもにとって童話や絵本は彼らにとってのエンターテインメントという性格を持つだけではなく、語感や言葉を豊かにしていく言語的な工夫もちりばめられている。子ども向けといっても母語話者のため、スペイン語学習者にとっては少し難しい文法もさらりと出てくる。適宜文法や語彙を補いながらイラストや言葉のリズムで想像力を刺激し、スペイン語とその豊かな言語文化に触れることで自らの言語資産、文化資産を増やしていく。
