This course aims to enrich students' knowledge of the culture and society of Spanish-speaking regions while they actively learn the language through various class activities. The students will achieve A2 level of Spanish by reading poetry in both languages, mean while they will obtain basic skills of poetry criticism.
The main objective of the course is to understand the world of “Pop Latino” through pop music of Spain and Latin America, and comprehend social and historical contexts, way of thinking and original expressions that Spanish-speaking people share. Students can improve their listening, reading and translating skills by listening Spanish hit songs, reading (singing) and translating their lyrics.
Based on the CEFR A2 level of Spanish language skills acquired in the mandatory and elective courses, this course will use CEFR A2 level materials. The overall theme of this course is entertainment in Spanish-speaking regions, with a focus on movies, songs, drama, and TV as specific subject matter. The courses in this area are also positioned as preparatory courses for academic courses. In this course particular, the students will translate, according to the critics, Spanish poems into Japanese and vice versa, then with some help from course mates and the teacher, they will brush up their works.
Students will analyze hit songs’ lyrics performed by each country and region’s representative artists, using basic and newly learned Spanish grammar knowledge. On the first day for an assigned song the professor presents the artist and his/her song, then explain some important grammar and expressions. On the second day, students will read their translations, and the professor comments appropriately on grammar and translation techniques.

課題曲の2日目授業までに歌詞をひと通り翻訳しておくこと。また，基礎・中級で学習した文法事項は常に復習しておくこと。また，アクティブラーニングは指定されたラテンポップの曲の中からひとつ選び，曲を聴いた上で翻訳し提出。さらに，曲の内容および曲から得た自分の感想を書いて提出すること。
Students should translate the whole lyrics before the second day for an assigned song. Also they should review constantly the grammar learned in basic and intermediate courses. As for Active learning hour, students will choose a Latin Pop song from options, translate its lyrics after listening. In addition, they will make a review and describe their impressions and submit all of them.

さまざまな授業活動によって能動的に言語を学びながら、スペイン語圏の文化や社会に関する教養を深めることを目指す。日本語およびスペイン語で書かれた詩の鑑賞を通して、CEFR A2程度のスペイン語運用能を獲得する。また詩の鑑賞についても基本的な技巧を身に付ける。
スペインとラテンアメリカのポップ音楽を通して「pop latino（スペイン語ポップ）」の世界を理解すると同時に，スペイン語圏の人々がもつ考え方，独特の表現方法，文化・歴史的背景に対する知識を深める。スペイン語のヒット曲を聴き、歌詞を音読する（口ずさむ）ことで聞く力、読む力（または歌唱力）、そして翻訳力を養う。

必修科目等で身に付けたCEFR A2レベルのスペイン語運用能力を土台とし、CEFR A2レベルの題材を使用する。科目の総合テーマは「スペイン語圏のエンターテインメント」で、具体的な題材として、映画、歌、演劇、TV等を扱う。また、本領域の科目はアカデミック領域の科目を受講するための準備段階にも位置づけられる。この授業では、鑑賞文や解説を参考に、各自で日本語の詩をスペイン語に訳す。訳を教員およびクラスメートと確認し合い、ブラッシュアップする。スペイン語の詩は輪読して大意を確認した後、日本語で鑑賞文を書く。
各国・地域の代表的なアーティストのヒット曲を聴き、初級および中級で習得した文法知識と今回新しく学ぶ応用文法の知識をもとに歌詞を分析する。各課題曲の1日目に曲およびアーティスト紹介、重要文法事項の解説を行う。そして2日目には、各自が翻訳した各フレーズの訳を発表した後、講師が適宜文法や翻訳テクニックについて解説する。
Based on the CEFR A2 level of Spanish language skills acquired in the mandatory and elective courses, this course will use CEFR A2 level materials. The overall theme of this course is entertainment in Spanish-speaking regions, with a focus on movies, songs, drama, and TV as specific subject matter.
