This course aims to enhance language skills by learning Spanish intensively in a short period of time at a school specializing in languages. Through doing this, students will have many opportunities to practice Spanish language both inside and outside class and to enrich their knowledge of the culture and society of Spanish-speaking regions. This will be achieved by enabling students to directly experience Spanish lifestyle and culture and through exchanges with local people.
During the Spring vacation, students will stay in the state of Galicia, Spain, to attend a short-term (3 weeks) intensive Spanish course as part of the international courses offered by Cursos Internacionales of Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. The language and cultural training will be conducted while practicing Spanish through extracurricular activities and sharing life with local people in Spain as well as broadening knowledge of Spanish-speaking world.
Before departure, during the Fall semester, students must attend a total of 4 advance training sessions (all on Saturday afternoons) for necessary preparations and 1 session after coming back to Japan (to be decided) . Homestay accommodation is provided for all students. Costs, including tuition, travel, and homestay expenses, are expected to be about 650,000 yen. However, as the number of participants and exchange rate fluctuates, specifics will be announced during the advance training.

言語教育を専門とする機関で、短期間集中的に学修し、教室内・教室外を問わず、実際にスペイン語を使う機会を多く持つことを通して言語運用能力を高めること、また、現地での生活や文化を直接体験し、人との交流を通じて、スペイン語圏の文化と社会への知識をより深めることを目標とする。

春休み中の３週間、スペインのガリシア州に滞在し、サンティアゴ・デ・コンポステーラ大学国際コースの短期スペイン語集中コースを受講する。あわせて、課外活動や現地生活を通してスペイン語の運用を実践し、スペイン語圏の文化・社会に関する知見を広める。
秋学期中に行われる計４回の事前研修（いずれも土曜日午後)と1回の事後研修（曜日は未定）に必ず出席すること。
現地での滞在方法はホームステイ。
費用は、現地プログラム参加費（授業料・補助教材費等）、宿泊費、往復航空運賃、現地空港から研修地までの移動費などを含み約65万円程度。ただし参加人数や為替レート等により変動があるので、詳細は事前研修で発表する。
