This course aims to enrich students' knowledge of the culture and society of Spanish-speaking regions while they actively learn the language through various class activities.
Based on the CEFR A2 level of Spanish language skills acquired in the mandatory and elective courses, this course will use CEFR B1 level materials. The overall theme of this course is culture and society in Spanish-speaking regions, with a focus on history, art, literature, society, and current events as specific subject matter. The courses in this area are also positioned as preparatory courses for academic courses.

| ラテンアメリカを中心にしたスペイン語圏のニュース、講演、会話や曲を聞き取り、内容を理解することでスペイン語という視点を獲得し、世界を、あるいは日本を複眼的に眺める武器にする。 スペイン語を用いて世界を、日本を複眼的に眺める手段について学び、たとえばニュースについて日本や英語圏のメディアでの取り上げられ方とスペイン語世界での取り上げられ方との違いについて考察することにより、新たな視点から世界を眺められるようになる。 |

さまざまな授業活動によって能動的に言語を学びながら、スペイン語圏の文化や社会に関する教養を深めることを目指す。

必修科目等で身に付けたCEFR A2レベルのスペイン語運用能力を土台とし、CEFR B1レベルの題材を使用する。科目の総合テーマは「スペイン語圏の文化と社会」で、具体的な題材として、歴史、芸術、文学、社会、時事問題等を扱う。また、本領域の科目はアカデミック領域の科目を受講するための準備段階にも位置づけられる。
