This course aims to cultivate the ability to translate and interpret in negotiations with people from various cultural backgrounds while developing the Spanish language skills to be active in a global society in the future.
This course assumes that students have CEFR B1 level skills and will provide them with the basic skills to translate and interpret between Spanish and Japanese. Using a variety of texts and subjects, including travel information, brochures and pamphlets, newspaper articles, and TV and radio news, this course will discuss slight differences in the interpretation of scenes and situations, gaps in meaning between the two languages, and problems that arise in translation due to the difference in cultural and social backgrounds.

将来、グローバル社会で活躍するためにスペイン語の運用能力の育成を目指しながら、多様な文化背景を持つ相手との間に立って言語を仲介する力を養うことを目標とする。
This course aims to cultivate the ability to translate and interpret in negotiations with people from various cultural backgrounds while developing the Spanish language skills to be active in a global society in the future.
CEFR B1レベルの能力がある学生が履修することを前提とし、スペイン語から日本語に翻訳・通訳する基礎となる技術を身に付ける。旅行関係の情報記事、パンフレット、新聞記事、ニュースなどを題材に、場面や状況に応じたニュアンスの違い、言語間での意味のギャップ、そして文化や社会的背景の位相に起因する翻訳・通訳で生じる問題についても扱う。
