Intended for students who have completed the beginner level. The course aims to bolster students’ knowledge of basic vocabulary and sentence patterns, and strengthen its application.
More specifically, by the end of the course, students will be able to produce correct sentences (both simple and complex) and write a short text (about 400 characters) using appropriate structure.
Students will do exercises in writing long sentences by combining more than one sentence form and vocabulary for beginners.
Students will become trained to produce natural and sophisticated Japanese by paying attention to the incorrect use of particles and vocabulary as well as considering whether a sentence makes sense.

初級(しょきゅう)修了(しゅうりょう)レベルの学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)を対象(たいしょう)とし,初級(しょきゅう)で学習(がくしゅう)した語彙(ごい)や文型(ぶんけい)の定着(ていちゃく)及(およ)び応用力(おうようりょく)の養成(ようせい)を目的(もくてき)とする。具体的(ぐたいてき)には,それらを使(つか)って正(ただ)しい文章(ぶんしょう)（単文(たんぶん)だけでなく,複文(ふくぶん)も含(ふく)むが産出(さんしゅつ)できるようになることを目指(めざ)す。また,400字(じ)～600字(じ)程度(ていど)の短(みじか)い文章(ぶんしょう)が適切(てきせつ)な構成(こうせい)で書(か)けるようになることも目標(もくひょう)とする。

初級(しょきゅう)で学習(がくしゅう)した語彙(ごい)や文型(ぶんけい)を複数(ふくすう)組(く)み合(あ)わせて,長(なが)い１文(ぶん)を作成(さくせい)する練習(れんしゅう)を繰(く)り返(かえ)す。単(たん)に意味(いみ)が通(つう)じるだけでなく,助詞(じょし)の間違(まちが)いや語彙(ごい)レベルの不適切(ふてきせつ)さなどにも注意(ちゅうい)を向(む)け,自然(しぜん)で洗練(せんれん)された日本語(にほんご)を作(つく)る練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)う。
