PEACEプログラムの学生対象 This course is for PEACE Program students |
This course is designed for students who have completed the first half of intermediate-level study. Its purpose is to develop students’ ability to understand spoken information on current events as well as logically express their own opinions on those topics, fluently speaking Japanese appropriate to the listener and situation. By the end of the semester, students will have a vocabulary of 10,000 words.
In listening comprehension class, students will practice accurately grasping the content of TV and radio news broadcasts.
In conversation class, they will practice stating their opinions on current events and social issues in a way that clearly expresses their personal perspectives. Finally, the course will address the three themes: “speaking in a structured way”, “explaining via comparisons”, and “speaking with a clear development of ideas”. Students will practice using expressions that appear frequently in everyday conversation as well as clearly communicating ideas to others in an organized way.

中級(ちゅうきゅう)前半(ぜんはん)修了(しゅうりょう)レベルの学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)を対象(たいしょう)とし,時事(じじ)問題(もんだい)をテーマに聴(ちょう)解(かい)能力(のうりょく)を育成(いくせい)すると同時(どうじ)に,それに対(たい)する意見(いけん)を論理的(ろんりてき)に表明(ひょうめい)したり,相手(あいて)や場面(ばめん)にふさわしい日本語(にほんご)を流暢(りゅうちょう)に話(はな)したりできるようになることを目標(もくひょう)とする。学期(がっき)終了後(しゅうりょうご)には,語彙(ごい)数(すう)10,000の習得(しゅうとく)を目指(めざ)す。

聴解(ちょうかい)では,テレビやラジオのニュースで話(はな)される内容(ないよう)を正確(せいかく)に把握(はあく)する練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)う。
会話(かいわ)では,日常的(にちじょうてき)なことがらや 社会問題(しゃかいもんだい)を話題(わだい)として,まとまった内容(ないよう)を相手(あいて)にわかりやすく伝(つた)える練習(れんしゅう)や,相(あい)づちや聞(き)き返(かえ)しを用(もち)いながら相手(あいて)の話(はなし)を聞(き)く練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)う。
