PEACEプログラムの学生対象 This course is for PEACE Program students |
This course is designed for students who have completed beginner- and intermediate-level study and aims to develop their listening comprehension skills and conversational abilities in a variety of everyday situations. The goal of this course is to develop students’ ability to accurately grasp what others are saying and clearly communicate their own opinion or other information in response. The course also aims to develop student’s ability to use Japanese to give presentations in public. It also sets a goal that students have vocabulary of 6,000 words and become able to both take in and produce general contents in everyday life, including in academic settings, by the end of the semester.
The class will cover three functions—message, invitation, and permission—through practice in listening comprehension, conversation, and dialogues based on recorded materials. Students will also study the difference between language used in casual and formal situations they encounter in everyday life. In doing so, they will practice listening and comprehending what is being said as well as producing target expressions, eventually leading to role-playing presentations.
In practicing conversations and monologues, students will give two presentations during the semester and exchange opinions about them. In either case, students will practice to use polite expressions (keigo) in formal situations.

必要(ひつよう)な準備(じゅんび)学習(がくしゅう)については,毎回(まいかい)の授業(じゅぎょう)で指示(しじ)する。スピーチの準備(じゅんび)として,グラフや表(ひょう)を自分(じぶん)で探(さが)すことや,原稿(げんこう)を準備(じゅんび)することは,教室内(きょうしつない)では行(おこな)わないため,宿題(しゅくだい)となる。また,スピーチの発音(はつおん)練習(れんしゅう)は教室内(きょうしつない)でも行(おこな)うが,練習(れんしゅう)が不足(ふそく)していると思(おも)う場合(ばあい)は, 教室外(きょうしつがい)でも練習(れんしゅう)をすることが望(のぞ)ましい。

初中級(しょちゅうきゅう)修了(しゅうりょう)レベルの学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)を対象(たいしょう)とし,日常(にちじょう)生活(せいかつ)における様々(さまざま)な場面(ばめん)での聴解(ちょうかい)能力(のうりょく)と会話(かいわ)能力(のうりょく)の育成(いくせい)を目指(めざ)す。相手(あいて)の話(はな)すことを正確(せいかく)に把握(はあく)し,それに対(たい)して自分(じぶん)の意見(いけん)等(など)をきちんと話(はな)せるようになることを目標(もくひょう)とする。また,人前(ひとまえ)で日本語(にほんご)を使(つか)って発表(はっぴょう)ができるようになることも目標(もくひょう)とする。学期(がっき)終了後(しゅうりょうご)には,語彙(ごい)数(すう)6,000,アカデミック場面(ばめん)を含(ふく)め,日常(にちじょう)での一般的(いっぱんてき)なことについてインプット,アウトプットが出来(でき)るようになることを目標(もくひょう)とする。

聴解(ちょうかい)と会話(かいわ)・ダイアローグの練習(れんしゅう)では,テープ教材(きょうざい)をもとに,「勧誘(かんゆう)」「許可(きょか)」「提案(ていあん)」などの機能(きのう)を取(と)り上(あ)げ,日常(にちじょう)での「カジュアルな場面(ばめん)」と「改(あらた)まった場面(ばめん)」での言(い)い方(かた)の違(ちが)いを勉強(べんきょう)する。その際(さい),内容(ないよう)の聞(き)き取(と)り,ターゲット表現(ひょうげん)の発話(はつわ)練習(れんしゅう)を行い,ロールプレイの発表(はつぴょう)へとつなげる。
会話(かいわ)・モノローグの練習(れんしゅう)では,学期中(がっきちゅう)に２回(かい)発表(はっぴょう)およびそれについての意見(いけん)交換(こうかん)などを行(おこな)う。どちらも改(あらた)まった場面(ばめん)では,敬語(けいご)を使(つか)う練習(れんしゅう)をする。
