【Course Objectives】

This introductory course is for students who are interested in studying abroad in the future. The goals of the course include:

1) improving academic and daily communication skills
2) developing fluency and confidence in English
3) becoming more independent language learners
4) developing skills necessary for the TOEFL test
5) preparing for adopting to life in a foreign culture

The academic, language, and communication skills described above will be built on skills students have developed in required English language courses.

【Course Contents】

In this course, with the use of a wide range of contents relevant to study abroad, students will learn and discuss various topics that will help them prepare to study abroad. In parallel to this, students will engage with TOEFL practice questions and TOEFL-related exercises and activities in order to develop the basic skills needed to prepare for the TOEFL.
