【Course Objectives】

Through this course, students will be able to:

1. Talk about a wide range of topics in interviews, long turns, and academic discussions
2. Write descriptions, preferences and explanations with reasons and support
3. Respond to a variety of texts through TOEFL test-relevant speaking and writing tasks
4. Demonstrate an understanding of self-directed language learning strategies
5. Compile practical information about taking classes at a university abroad
5. Prepare for adapting to life in a foreign culture

【Course Contents】

This advanced course is for students who are interested in studying abroad in the future and want to improve their academic communication skills. Including a wide range of contents relating to studying abroad, and topics that might be expected in English-speaking countries, the course focuses on developing high levels of fluency and confidence in academic English. The course will also help students become more independent language learners and develop the advanced academic skills necessary for the TOEFL test.
