Throughout this course, students will learn how to:
1) create learning goals and reflect on progress
2) describe features and stages of learning plans
3) consider aspects of individual learning histories with culture and learning backgrounds
4) implement and reflect on an individual language learning plans
5) show understanding of subject-specific vocabulary
6) respond appropriately using questions/replies in presentations and cooperate in group discussions.
Students achieve individual language learning goals by designing and carrying out language learning plans. Weekly discussions will be based on reflective journals and reports on out-of-class learning activities. The contents of the course will be from the student's own academic disciplines and interests. In groups, students will participate in presentations and discussion activities throughout the course.
