【Course Objectives】

Students will be able to communicate effectively in academic settings as such as congress, conference, symposium-style discussions and university. In addition, students will be able to discuss and explain content knowledge relevant to understanding and solving current global issues.

【Course Contents】

Various content knowledge that are relevant to addressing current global issues such as “business and management,” “environment and tourism,” “community and social,” “health and wellbeing,” “political and legal,” “science and technology,” “religion and philosophy,” and “communication and culture.”

Specific communication skills necessary for both formal and informal academic speech, discussions, and writing such as evidence-based, appropriate academic communication style citations and referencing. They will also acquire critical and creative thinking skills such as analyzing global issues and synthesizing the ideas and discussion to present their
solution.
