【Course Objectives】

•Students will learn to utilize analytical tools to identify and appreciate the diverse artistic expressions within the humanities.
•Each week, the instructor will provide a mini-lecture on the designated topic, which will then be explored through student-centered discussions and interactive activities.
•Topics covered will include but are not limited to:
-Understanding artistic movements in the fine arts
-Exploring key themes in literature and philosophy
-Analyzing performances in the performing arts
•Assessments will include written reflections, and individual project presentations aimed at reinforcing and demonstrating the students' comprehension of the humanities.

【Course Contents】

This course introduces students to fundamental academic concepts within the Humanities, with a focus on the fine arts, performing arts, literature, and philosophy. The course also aims to enhance students' language and academic skills through note-taking, annotating, vocabulary development, analytical thinking, critical reasoning, discussion, and presentation skills.

NOTE: The course contents may be subject to change based on student enrollment and the evolving learning objectives of the class.
