Throughout this course, students will learn how to:
1. identify and analyse foundational concepts of intercultural communication (C).
2. critically analyse intercultural communication scenarios and propose effective strategies (C).
3. collaborate in group tasks to design and present intercultural communication plans (C).
4. reflect on personal and cultural perspectives through reflective activities, and document learning in a portfolio (C).
5. learn and use vocabulary and expressions to discuss intercultural topics fluently and accurately (L).
6. develop effective writing skills by creating an intercultural communication guidebook (L).

This seminar explores essential topics in intercultural communication, utilising a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach to blend content knowledge with language skills development. The course emphasizes fostering higher-order thinking skills, such as analysis and evaluation, while promoting a deeper understanding of cultural awareness. Students will critically examine core intercultural concepts, explore diverse perspectives, and reflect on their own cultural experiences. Through interactive activities, discussions, and practical tasks, participants will enhance their ability to navigate intercultural contexts effectively, building both theoretical knowledge and practical communication skills essential for real-world applications.
