This course aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of global movement of people, with particularly emphasis on the refugees and migrants.
The issues of global movement of refugees and migrants have been the center of the world politics in recent years. However, the phenomenon is very complicated and often misunderstood. This lecture will give some basic knowledge to understand the global movement of people correctly. The entire course will be held in English and all students are expected to participate actively in group presentation and discussion. Students are expected to intermingle their knowledge with other studies, to gain logical and critical thinking, and to improve communication, writing and questioning skills.
This course is scheduled to be taught in an online classes in June and July, and in-person in August.

このコースは、特に難民と移民に重点を置き、世界的な人の移動について包括的に理解することを目的としている。

近年、難民や移民の世界的な移動が国際政治の重要イシューとなっている。しかし、この現象は非常に複雑であり、しばしば誤解されている。本講義では、世界的な人の移動を正しく理解するための基礎知識を学ぶ。講座はすべて英語で行われ、受講生はグループでの発表やディスカッションに積極的に参加することが求められる。他の学問領域との横断的アプローチ、論理的・批判的思考、言語コミュニケーションとライティング能力などが求められる。
このコースは、6月と7月にオンラインで、8月に対面集中講義で行われる予定である。
