This course is designed to help students gain an image of working for companies abroad and learn what skills are necessary to be successful in a global society by participating the designated short term work experience programs in a group. Students who successfully complete this course should be ready for taking higher level courses such as “Overseas Work Experience 2” in the following semester or later.
Preparation: setting goals
Pre-departure training: gain understanding of the program, self-understanding and confirmation of objectives and goals, learn business manners, etc.
Work Experience (approx. one week): visit companies, interview with a working person, participate in project based learning, etc.
Post-training session: self-assessment, presentation, report writing

この科目は、指定の就業体験プログラムに短期かつ団体で参加することで、海外の企業で働くイメージを持ち、グローバル社会で活躍するために必要な能力を知る機会とする。履修後は、次学期以降の「海外ワークエクスペリエンス2」などの上位レベルの海外渡航プログラムを受講することができるようになる。

事前研修：ワークエクスペリエンスプログラムへの理解・参加準備，自己理解・目的や目標の確認，マナー学習等
ワークエクスペリエンス（約1週間）：企業訪問，社会人インタビュー，プロジェクト学習等
事後研修：振り返り，プレゼンテーション，レポート作成

ワークエクスペリエンス参加のために必要な情報の収集，必要な知識やスキルの習得などの事前準備を各自行う。参加前に目標を立て，参加後はそれをもとに自身での振り返りや次の目標設定を行い各自のその後の行動につなげる。なお、渡航準備は各自の責任で行う。

■ワークエクスペリエンスは2025年2月もしくは3月の指定日に行う。
■募集情報詳細は2024年9月下旬頃に公開。グローバル教育センターの募集サイト等を参照（https://spirit.rikkyo.ac.jp/ghrd/internship/SitePages/intern1_index.aspx）。
■旧科目名「海外インターンシップ1」（2023年度以前開講）と同一科目。
「海外ワークエクスペリエンス1」を重複履修をした場合同様、「海外インターンシップ1」科目の単位を修得済みの者が「海外ワークエクスペリエンス1」を履修した場合、その修得単位は随意科目として扱う。
・2016年度以降1年次入学者：多彩な学び科目
・2012～2015年度1年次入学者：総合自由科目
本科目は、インターンシップ、就業体験、その他の学外活動等による実践的な学びを中心に構成する授業である。
