Various regional economies exist both globally and within Japan. To understand their diversity and complexity, this course aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of economic theory and develop their perspective for analyzing international regional disparities and regional comparisons within Japan’s economy. Ultimately, the goal is to deepen their understanding of regional economies from a global perspective.
The course will be conducted online via Zoom, using PowerPoint presentations and video materials for lectures. Explanations will be given in Japanese, but lecture materials will primarily be in English.

世界や日本国内には様々な地域経済が存在する。その多様性と複雑性を把握するために本授業では、経済理論の基礎知識を習得し、国際的な地域間格差や日本国内経済の地域比較を分析する視野を養うことを目的とする。そしてグローバルな観点から地域経済に対する理解を深めることを目標とする。
