Students will come to understand what it means to develop plans for tourism and what should be the aim of planning for tourism to create better tourist destinations, and will learn planning techniques.
In the pursuit of sustainable tourism, what concepts should a community use to create their goals, and what procedures should they implement to achieve them? Furthermore, what areas should be targeted to create an attractive community? In this course, we will cover the meaning and significance of tourism planning, and lectures will go over basic skills for planning strategy.

観光に関する計画を策定するとはどういうことか、またよりよい観光地づくりとは何を目指すことか、といったことについて理解するとともに、計画技法を身につける。
Students will come to understand what it means to develop plans for tourism and what should be the aim of planning for tourism to create better tourist destinations, and will learn planning techniques.
持続可能な観光の実現のために、地域はどのようなコンセプトのもと目標を立て実現に向けた手段を講じていくべきか。また、魅力的な地域づくりのために、どのような項目がその対象となるか。本講義では観光計画の意味・意義について論ずるとともに、計画策定の基礎的な技術について講義を行う。
