Students will participate in international exchange based on inter-departmental agreement that lasts about ten days. They will learn the basics of the language, society and culture of the destination through lectures as well as living in cross-cultural environments. Furthermore, by spending time together with the students at our partner institutions it is aimed to improve our students’ communication skills.
This year, two courses will be offered: Malay-Indonesia of University of Malaya and Vietnam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi University of Humanities and Social Sciences. Each course consists of language training, lectures, presentations and practical training on society and culture, study tours, field research and exchange events with students from the partner universities.(Pre and post coursework in-country and summer overseas field trip training)

立教大学の代表として、自主的に参加する自覚と責任を持てること
授業支援システムなどでガイダンス資料を提示するので、確認すること。
協定校での研修期間は引率教員が同行しないため、履修者は大学の代表として自主性と責任を持った行動が求められる。
本科目は履修に際し、いくつかの条件があるので、必要事項を記載した募集要項を確認し、履修条件を理解、了承しておくこと。
なお、社会状況によって、現地研修がオンライン開講に変更されることがある。
GSP1では、夏季休業中に学部間協定校に10日間程度滞在し、現地言語の基礎に触れるとともに、講義やフィールドワークによって異文化社会・文化を生活体験の中で学ぶ。協定校の学生との協働によって、同世代の海外学生と交流し、コミュニケーション能力の向上を図る。

本年度はマラヤ大学、ベトナム国家大学ハノイ人文・社会科学大学の2コースを実施する。各コースとも研修プログラムは英語で行われ、現地言語と社会・文化についての講義、発表、実習、協定校学生との交流などで構成されている。（国内での事前・事後授業と夏休み現地渡航研修）
