Students will stay at an inter-faculty partner university for approximately 10 days during the summer holiday. Through lectures, fieldwork, and research presentations, they will learn about the society and culture of the host country. Furthermore, the program aims to enhance students' communication skills through collaboration with local student buddies at the partner institution.
This year, two courses are offered: one at the University of Malaya and another at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). The University of Malaya program focuses on participation in student-led international conferences where students present their research papers. The Vietnam National University program emphasizes fieldwork, requiring students to investigate individual themes with the support of local student partners.Both programs are conducted entirely in English.

WordやPowerPoint、Googleドキュメントやスライドを用いた資料作成の基本操作を習得しておくこと。

授業支援システムなどでガイダンス資料を提示するので、確認すること。
協定校での研修期間は引率教員が同行しないため、履修者は大学の代表として自主性と責任を持った行動が求められる。
本科目は履修に際し、いくつかの条件があるので、必要事項を記載した募集要項を確認し、履修条件を理解、了承しておくこと。
なお、社会状況によって、現地研修がオンライン開講に変更されることがある。
GSP1では、夏季休業中に学部間協定校に10日間程度滞在する。講義やフィールドワーク、研究発表をとおして滞在先の社会と文化を学ぶ。協定校の同世代の学生との協働をとおして、コミュニケーション能力の向上を図る。

本年度はマラヤ大学、ベトナム国家大学ハノイ人文・社会科学大学の2コースを実施する。マラヤ大学では学生主体の国際会議に参加し、各自の研究内容を報告する。ベトナム国家大学では、現地の学生パートナーと協力し各自が決めたテーマについてフィールドワークを実施する。各コースとも現地のプログラムは英語で行われる。
