The main purpose of this class is to attend and make a presentation at a research competition. To achieve that goal, students will be able to decide on research questions clearly and conduct a questionnaire survey. The goal is for students to be able to present these results in a PowerPoint presentation that not only attracts the audience's attention but also highlights the social importance of the research results.
Students will discuss the research theme and conduct their survey. Furthermore, students will have to study the methods of statistical analysis and prepare for a presentation at a research competition. Moreover, the practice of a research presentation will be conducted multiple times in this class.

学生の研究発表大会への出場を目指し、研究テーマを設定し調査手法の設計、調査・分析を自ら行なえるようになる。また、これらの成果をパワーポイントにまとめ、オーディエンスの関心を引くのみならず、研究成果の社会的重要性をアピールできるプレゼンテーションを行なえるようになることを目標とする。

学生同士で議論し、文献の読み合わせを行ない、設定したテーマについて研究のアプローチ方法を明確にする。さらに、必要な統計分析手法についての勉強を進め、全国大会で研究発表できるよう準備を進める。演習の中で複数回の発表練習を経た上で、全国大会で研究発表を行う。
