(1) Touching on the various theories and ideas in the history of philosophy and ethical thought, students will deepen their basic knowledge in the disciplines of "philosophy" and “ethics”.
(2) Students will acquire philosophical / ethical thinking methods, as well as academic writing methods, mainly through the completion of small exercises.
This year, we will conduct lectures focusing on "Ethics" within the field of "Philosophy," particularly emphasizing "Tourism Ethics."
In the first half, the primary audience will be students encountering the study of philosophy and ethics for the first time. We will introduce significant texts from the history of philosophy and ethical thought, spanning from ancient times to the present. Famous philosophers such as Socrates, Kant, Nietzsche, and others, likely familiar to many of you, will be featured.
The second half will delve into the theme of "Tourism Ethics." After introducing several prominent theories in tourism ethics, we will examine applied ethics, such as "Biomedical ethics," "Environmental Ethics," and "Business Ethics," from the perspective of tourism.
Due to the lecturer's interests, references to subcultures such as anime, manga, games, music, and more will be frequent in the lectures. The aim is to spark an interest in philosophy and ethics through these cultural references.

（１）哲学史・倫理思想史上のさまざまな学説・考え方に触れることで，「哲学」・「倫理学」という学問に関する基礎的な知識を学び，理解を深める．（２）課題に取り組むことを通して，哲学的／倫理学的な思考の方法と学術的な文章の書き方を身につける．

今年度は「哲学」の中の「倫理学」，とりわけ「観光倫理学」に焦点を当てて講義を行ないます．
まず前半は，哲学・倫理学という学問にはじめて触れる学生を主な対象として，古代から現代に至る哲学史・倫理思想史における主要なテクストを紹介していきます．ソクラテス，カント，ニーチェなど，おそらくみなさんも聞いたことのある有名な哲学者たちが登場します．
後半のテーマは「観光倫理学」です．観光倫理学の代表的な理論をいくつか紹介した後，「生命医療倫理」「環境倫理」「ビジネス倫理」などの応用倫理学について，観光という視点から検討します．
担当者の関心もあり，講義では，アニメや漫画，ゲーム，音楽などのサブカルチャーへしばしば言及します．哲学・倫理学への関心をもつきっかけにして欲しいと思っています．
