This course aims to deepen the understanding of fundamental concepts that constitute tourism experience through the examination of texts of philosophy, ethics and literature all times and places. Students will acquire the ability to experience and reflect on their own journey and the basic ability to offer meaningful tourism experience to other people.
This course examines the fundamental concepts of tourism experience by referring to various texts of philosophy, ethics and literature. The course will be divided in three parts, namely, pre-tour stage, on-tour stage and post-tour stage. The fundamental concepts will be examined along these stages. Students will be required to submit three reports and to participate in discussion with other students.

この講義では、人間の観光経験を構成する様々な基本的概念について、哲学・倫理学理論や古今東西の文学作品を参照しつつ考察を深める。受講生は、自分自身の旅をより豊かに経験し反省するための力、人々に対して意義深い観光経験を提供するための基礎となる力を身に付ける。

この講義では、旅行前・旅行中・旅行後のそれぞれの場面において、観光経験を構成する基本的概念について、哲学・倫理学理論や文学作品を参照しつつ検討する。旅行前については想像力と欲望、旅行中については知覚・感情・理解、旅行後については主体の変容、語り、価値創造の概念をそれぞれ取り上げる。各場面について受講生にレポートを作成して貰い、レポート内容をもとにした受講生同士のディスカッションの回を設ける。
