This course aims to gain perspectives for understanding the current state of international society, focusing on the increased movement of people across borders that is causing major social changes on a global level.
From historical, political, and economic perspectives, this course offers information on past forms of international movements of people, such as emigration and migration. The course also examines current problems caused by advancing globalization and by conditions and problems now most familiar in Japan.

国境を超えて移動する人間・お金・サービスなどの増大は世界的範囲で大きな社会変動を及ぼしている。本講義では、そうした現在の国際社会を理解するための視点を得ることを目標とする。

移民・移住・観光など人間の国際間移動がこれまでどのような形で行われてきたかについて歴史的政治的経済的視点から講義していくこととする。またグローバリゼーションがいっそう進みつつある現在における問題点、さらに最も身近な日本における現状や問題点についても考察する。
