Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
１）Reinterpret tourism and society through the framework of mobility to understand that society has been built on and changed by mobile bodies, things, capital, information and technologies.
２）Understand that reducing global inequality and building a sustainable society are personal issues that directly affect their lives.
This course examines urgent challenges facing global society from the perspective of the sociology of mobilities.

PowerPointを使用した講義形式で、映像資料やオンラインコンテンツも適宜取り入れる。デジタルツールを活用した双方向的な講義を実施する。
「移動」（モビリティ）の枠組みから観光や人々の日常生活を認識し直すことで、社会は身体、モノ、資本、情報、テクノロジー等の移動によって成り立ち、変化してきたことを理解する。グローバルな格差解消や持続可能な社会の実現を自分事として捉える視野を獲得する。

講義ではグローバル社会が直面する喫緊の課題を題材にし、移動の社会学の視座から考察する。
