A) To acquire the basic knowledge necessary to view sport as a cultural tourism resource.
B) To acquire the internationality to understand multiculturalism, a perspective to capture cultural change and critical thinking to question the value and meaning of culture while using sport as a theme.
(C) Through group work and other activities, students will develop their listening, thinking, and communication skills to engage in constructive and inquisitive discussions.
Students will think and discuss individually and in groups based on the following lecture content.
(i) Grasp the global development process of sport at large.
(ii) Understand the diversity of sport in different countries and regions.
(iii) Understand sport in Japan as a culture and consider its historical changes, characteristics and problems.
(iv) Understand the appeal and power of sport.
Lectures, group work, presentations and discussions will be conducted in line with the above content.

A)スポーツを文化的な観光資源としてとらえるために必要な基礎的な知識を身につけること。
B)スポーツをテーマとしながら、多文化を理解する国際性、文化の変動をとらえるための視点、文化の価値や意味を問うクリティカルシンキングを身につけること。
C）グループワーク等を通して、建設的および探究的な議論をするための受信力、思考力、発信力等を鍛える。

①スポーツのグローバルな発展過程を大きくつかむ。

④スポーツのもつ魅力やパワーについて理解する。
