The purposes of this course are for students to: (1) understand the diversity of Tourism Geography from a perspective of regional geography and
(2) gain local knowledge of Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam.
This course first considers the position of Regional Geography in the globalized modern society. Next, it traces the history of Regional Geography to grasp the relationship between school education and regional geography. Based on this understanding, the course offers specific lectures on the phenomenon of tourism in Southeast Asian society, particularly Vietnam.

1．地誌的な視点から観光地理学の多面性を理解する。
2．ベトナムを中心に東南アジアに関する歴史・地理的な知識を涵養する。
The purposes of this course are for students to: (1) understand the diversity of Tourism Geography from a perspective of regional geography and
(2) gain local knowledge of Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam.
講義では，まずグローバル化した現代社会における地誌（学）の位置づけを検討する。次に，地誌の学説史をたどりつつ，学校教育と地誌との関係を把握する。以上の理解に基づき，東南アジア社会，特にベトナムを事例として，具体的な観光現象に関する講義をおこなう。
This course first considers the position of Regional Geography in the globalized modern society. Next, it traces the history of Regional Geography to grasp the relationship between school education and regional geography. Based on this understanding, the course offers specific lectures on the phenomenon of tourism in Southeast Asian society, particularly Vietnam.
